About mikyung kim

With over 17 years of experience at the helm of global creative campaigns, I bring a unique dual perspective to the production world: the precision of a senior leader and the grit of an entrepreneur.

Having built the foundations of my career in Hollywood, Los Angeles, I returned to Hong Kong, where I led the production department at Ogilvy as Head of TV and later founded my own boutique production company, MKIM & CO. Operating a business in one of the world's most competitive hubs taught me that creative excellence and commercial viability are not mutually exclusive—they are partners.

Currently serving as an Executive Producer at YouTube, I leverage that 360-degree business acumen to lead multi-disciplinary, global teams and oversee production budgets exceeding $16M USD collectively. From strategic global campaigns to platform-specific content for world-renowned brands, my focus remains the same: building the right teams and the right infrastructure to deliver impactful, effective work.
